ValuSelect is a product of ValuSelect. We provide financial control assurance software for regulated SMEs. For privacy matters, contact us at info@showerspro.com.
We collect: account registration data (name, email, password); organisation details (company name, sector); financial transaction data you enter (amounts, dates, references, descriptions); contractor and worker information you add; document reference numbers and expiry dates; audit log entries of actions taken within your account; email addresses submitted via our waitlist form.
We use your data to: provide and operate the ValuSelect service; detect financial control exceptions and generate alerts; produce compliance reports on your request; maintain an audit trail of activity within your account; communicate service updates and important notices. We do not use your financial data for marketing, profiling, or sell it to third parties.
We process your data on the following bases: Contract — processing necessary to provide the service you have subscribed to; Legitimate interests — maintaining security, preventing fraud, improving the service; Consent — where you have explicitly opted in (e.g. waitlist emails).
Your data is stored on servers located within the European Economic Area. We use industry-standard encryption (TLS/HTTPS) for all data in transit. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text. Access to production data is strictly limited.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it longer (e.g. financial records).
Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access your personal data; correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; restrict or object to processing; data portability; withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email info@showerspro.com.

ValuSelect is committed to GDPR compliance. We are in the process of completing ICO registration under the UK Data Protection Act 2018. In the meantime, we handle all personal data in accordance with GDPR principles.
